Drain Clearing Bentleigh

Lockdown restrictions have left many Victorians spending far more time at home than they had planned this year, which has also meant that people are experiencing more issues with their plumbing as it is usage goes up from previous years.

Andy and his family were spending time in their garden when all of a sudden he accidentally struck their copper water pipe causing it to spray everywhere wasting water and causing flooding in the front yard. Luckily, Andy thought quickly and turned the water meter off before the damage continued.

Andy had called a few different plumbers who came around, who he said, “tried to take advantage of us”. Unhappy with the other plumbing companies he had called, Andy then went online and looked up some reviews of the area and found O’Shea Plumbing. Some of our satisfied clients leave us reviews on Google or Product Review sharing their positive experience with our company. Pleased with the reviews he was reading online, Andy decided to give us a call.

Andrew (O’Shea Plumber) arrived later in the afternoon and provided Andy with some information and options to resolve the situation. Andrew presented Andy information on the water leak situation as well as some other important information on their plumbing system from things they could do to protect their young children from severe burns to how to increase the longevity of their water fixtures.

Understandably, Andy did not currently want to engage in any of these additional works as this was in the middle of the Stage Four lockdowns but was eager to learn of ways he could improve his plumbing when for Melbourne gets back to a bit of normality.

Andy approved the works to fix the copper pipe water leak in the yard and get water back to their house which Andrew proceeded to then fix. Within a few hours of Andy’s initial phone call to O’Shea Plumbing, his family had back a water source to their property.

Despite having fixed the problem at hand, the plumber was not happy with the existing garden post supporting the tap near where he was fixing. The next morning, Andrew got a new solid treated pine stake from the O’Shea Plumbing warehouse and returned to replace the post at no extra charge to the client. Nice work Andrew!
